Ohhhh she's awesome. You can tell at first glance there's something special going on. The light is a little flat but it turns out ok and I love the framing :)

Beautiful picture. I love the lighting in this picture. I think it actually adds a soft touch to the overall feel of the photo. One suggestion, perhaps a little more editing in photoshop to add a soft blur to her hair to bring more attention to the eyes. Overall though, incredible photo.

Two questions though. What kind of lens did you use for this potrait? Is this natural or artificial lighting?

Thanks, I guess I probably over sharpened the hair in this small version, I even made a layer for sharpening and erased what was on the hair. =P

I took this outside, all natural light, the background is the wall of a monastery and she was standing on some steps so I could get above her. I used the 50mm 1.8 from Canon. Amazing lens!
