Currently editing three weddings, with some other portrait work to edit too. I decided to go through some photos tonight and edit for myself. Really missing my "free time" to experiment with artistic and portrait photography now.
Anyway, this is a pretty basic edit. About five minutes, mostly edited in Lightroom and then converted to black and white in Photoshop with some of my actions. Shot with the Canon 40D and 50mm 1.4 standing in my usual spot, in front of my window. I recently bought the Canon 28mm 1.8, and hope to post some portraits with that too. Excited about the new focal length.
Yeah, a friend of mine has been keeping me up. I'm just heading to bed now. I've got a 6km walk planned as well as a bike ride. I'm going to need all the energy I can get!
Sweet dreams to you once you crash.

Oh, wow, get some sleep, haha! I had some creative juices flowing tonight. I feel less guilty editing in the night my own work, than in the day when I should be catching up on the wediting, haha. I also just discovered this new to me artist, "A Fine Frenzy." I've been listening to her whole first album, really beautiful. Inspiration is hard to find these days for me, so I'm taking advantage of it tonight while it lasts.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
