Point Shoot PhotosPhotos I have taken with my point & shoot cameras. The Canon S3 IS and the Olympus D-575Z. I just would like to show that you don't need an SLR camera to take great photos. You can learn many of the basics on a simple point and shoot camera. I remember before I had an SLR I would get very discouaged and jealous of those with one. So I would just like to encourage those who do not have an SLR yet, to make the best of what they have.  Comments Well, just by looking at the thumbs I can see you do an amazing job with the "amateur" cameras.
I used one for quite a long time. It was a small Olympus. My dad would come to me and tell me that my photos were great considering that they were taken with such a simple camera. But I have to say, I felt a lot more free with my SLR than with my old Olympus.  Thanks! The most important thing to learn, lighting can be done on a p&s camera, but as for image quality, yeah. An SLR makes it easier
 It took me forever to get one haha. Yes, I learned the basics with my Olympus. But I'm still learning with the SLR. Always learning
 These pictures are absolutely gorgeous! I could say I'm jealous of all the people with SLR's but I'm also jealous of your talent!
 I just got to say, Im in the exact same position where, I get really jealous of the people who have DSLR's and im using my Point and Shoot, wow these have really shown me that, good shots can be taken. Thanks a lot, I needed this to boost my Point and Shoot confidence XD. I mean its hard enough taking photos of moving fish, but ive tried on a point and shoot and ive achieved a lot more than if I had not tried, but thanks again!. *phew loong comment**breathes*
